2010 EVENTS
January 23, GPS 101. Our first event of the year and even more folks this year than we had our last GPS 101 Seminar a year ago. We can thank much to Greg Crago who holds the informational seminars thanks to his thoroughness, helpfulness and welcoming all questions. We plan on holding another GPS seminar next year split into two parts for those who are already familiar with GPS, and those who are brand new.
2009 EVENTS
December 12, Holiday Party. Even though the snow was in full swing outside, we were packed inside. Storewide savings for holidays shoppers or just looking to get into something new. Plenty of reminiscing over the latest riding season and plans for the upcoming season 2010. Nate Kern, BMW Factory Rider and U.S. S1000RR Ambassador, was here reviewing his racing experience and writing a few autographers. A good winter turnout none-the-less.
October 3, Oktoberfest Open House. Over 500 customers enjoyed the BMW SouthEast Michigan Oktoberfest hospitality. Many attendees rode to the event. The longest distance went to a new grandfather from Daytona Beach. The oldest bike was a 1953 BMW R51/3. A special award (100,000 miles on BMW's) was presented to Dave Johnson. Dave deserves special mention because he rode 15,000 of those miles on his 2008 R1200HP2!
Sept 27, BMW Track Day at Grattan. 35 Riders took advantage of an outstanding fall day and enjoyed one of our best track events to date. The weather was great and every participant had up to 3 hours of track time.
June 15, BMW Track Day at Grattan Raceway . Our best track day turn out yet with the day completely booked weeks in advance! Maybe it had something to do with Nate Kern there with his S1000RR?! You bet and it was a treat to see the star racer around our home track with both his S1000RR and HP2 Sport! Beautiful weather and everyone had a great time!
June 6 - 7, BMW Motorcycles Lansing Demo Days. For two full days the BMW Factory Demo truck was there with riders coming from all over the state to take advantage of the demo truck. All three BMW Motorcycle dealers were present along with other vendors to shop. A good turn out all weekend and we look forward to next year's event!
May 31, BMW Southeast Stockbridge Breakfast. Stockbridge is such a friendly place to ride to, they bought us and our customers breakfast! The weather was perfect and the Stockbridge Square was packed full of motorcycles! Thanks much for a delicious free breakfast Stockbridge and we look forward to our next event with you!
May 9, 3rd Anniversary Open House! Our largest turn out yet with the BMW Demo truck here along with BMW Factory Rider and USA Ambassador of the S1000RR, Nate Kern viewing his R1200S and HP2 Sport! We had just about every factory representative with two ladies from BMW Motorrad USA Apparel, BMW Motrrad and BMW Financial Services! We certainly look forward to seeing how large our 4th Anniversary Open House will be! Thank you to all who attended and made it possible!
May 2, Women's Ride held by Jan Pennington with new to experienced riders. A great way for women riders to meet other supportive women riders and gain confidence. They head through Dixboro, Stockbridge, Waterloo, Chelsea, Dexter and Ann Arbor. A great turn out and fun had by all!
April 18, Powerlet Seminar held by Jeff Bottrell. A full attendance with all types of riders interested in adding on electrical assessories to their bikes! Jeff is knowledgeable and always willing to help a fellow rider with questions and concerns.
March 30 - April 4, Customer Appreciation Week.
All week long we had discounts on parts, accessories and apparel! And, we served lunch every day at noon! A great way to bring in early spring-goers who are getting ready for the riding season! Stay tuned for the event happening next year!
